Summary#
osyrin org invite <email> --role <role> --org <org> is the People page's invite form as a command: an invitation is
mailed to the address, and the person joins when they accept — through the link, which makes their account if they have
none, or signed in, if they do.
Signature#
osyrin org invite <email> [--role Owner|Admin|Member] [--org <slug>] [--server <url>] [--json]Description#
The role is the organization's. Owner, Admin or Member — left out, Member. The invitation carries it, and accepting gives it. A platform role is never handed out this way.
Who may invite whom. An organization's Owners and Admins invite into it; only an Owner invites an Owner; a Member invites nobody. A plan may limit how many people an organization holds — waiting invitations count — and the refusal says so, with how to make room.
Already has an account? osyrin org add-user <email> --role <role> adds them at once instead. It answers
"Platform user … not found" for an address with no account; invite that one.
--org— the organization; needed when you belong to more than one.--json— prints{ok, invitation, organization, email, role}.
