Summary#
Osysharp.WorkRepositories.Agents is the bridge between work repositories and agents: tools with which an agent records evidence, findings and letters as items, and reads what is already there.
Each item is added as the agent's own account, on behalf of whoever asked, with where it came from and the piece of work it was written in. What an agent hands back is filed as a finding, unverified until somebody in charge accepts it.
| Package | Osysharp.WorkRepositories.Agents, version 1.1.0 |
| You add it with | Nothing. It arrives by itself in an app that uses [[agent-kit-work-repositories|WorkRepositories]] and [[agent-kit-agents|Agents]]; osy lock says so. without Osysharp.WorkRepositories.Agents; in the manifest keeps it out. |
| It sits on | [[agent-kit-agents|Agents]], [[agent-kit-assignments|Assignments]], [[agent-kit-work-repositories|WorkRepositories]] |
| It also uses | Identity — parts of the platform's own library |
| Its own test app | A lab that tests water samples — kits/work-repositories-agents/tests |
Description#
What do you get without writing anything?#
- Seven ready-made tools to put in a skill's
Tools. - The result of every piece of agent work attached to an assignment, filed as a finding.

What does it expose?#
The tables below are generated from the kit itself, not written by hand: osy kits Osysharp.WorkRepositories.Agents --surface lists each of
them with the code of the kit's own test app that uses it, and the tests that show it working.
Settings — one line in the app, each field with a default.
| You write | It says |
|---|---|
app.AgentFindings = new AgentFindingsSetup { FileResults } | How this app files what its agents find. |

| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
RecordEvidence(Assignment assignment, string title, string content, string source) | Record a piece of evidence on the assignment: something that shows a fact — a scan, a measurement, a record of another system. |
RecordFinding(Assignment assignment, string title, string content, string source) | Record a finding on the assignment: what you conclude from the evidence. |
RecordCorrespondence(Assignment assignment, string title, string content, string source) | Record a message sent or received on the assignment: a mail, a letter, a call note. |
ProposeAction(Assignment assignment, string title, string content) | Propose something to do on the assignment. |
NoteItemsDisagree(RepositoryItem item, Guid otherItemId, string about) | Note that an item does not agree with another item of the same assignment — otherItemId is that one's id — and about what. |
ListItems(Assignment assignment) | The items of the assignment's repository: each one's id, kind, title and standing. |
ReadItem(RepositoryItem item) | What one item says: the content of the version that stands. |
Functions you call, those its own tests show most first.
| Function | What it does | Tests that show it |
|---|---|---|
HandItemsTo(AgentRef agent, List<RepositoryItem> items) | Hand items to another agent by reference: it reads exactly these — whether or not it is on the assignment — and nothing is copied. | 1 |
TakeItemsFrom(AgentRef agent, List<RepositoryItem> items) | Take them back: its next read finds nothing. | 1 |
