## Summary        {#summary}
`Osysharp.Privacy.WorkRepositories` covers the items of an assignment's repository that are about a person: an application, what each interviewer thought, the letters.

Each kind of item has its own period — applications six months after a hire closes, say — which the tenant reads and changes. An erased item keeps its place: that there was one, what kind, who added it and when stay; what it said is gone from every version.

|  |  |
|---|---|
| Package | `Osysharp.Privacy.WorkRepositories`, version 1.1.0 |
| You add it with | Nothing. It arrives by itself in an app that uses [[agent-kit-privacy\|Privacy]] and [[agent-kit-work-repositories\|WorkRepositories]]; `osy lock` says so. `without Osysharp.Privacy.WorkRepositories;` in the manifest keeps it out. |
| It sits on | [[agent-kit-assignments\|Assignments]], [[agent-kit-privacy\|Privacy]], [[agent-kit-work-repositories\|WorkRepositories]] |
| It also uses | `Identity` — parts of the platform's own library |
| Its own test app | A design studio hiring an illustrator — `kits/privacy-work-repositories/tests` |

## Description    {#description}

### What do you get without writing anything?   {#free}
- Each kind erased for everybody when its own time is up.
- An erased item shown as erased, not missing.

### When do you need it?   {#when}
Privacy and WorkRepositories together. It arrives by itself. You write one line: `MarkItemAbout`.

### What does it expose?   {#exposes}
The tables below are generated from the kit itself, not written by hand: `osy kits Osysharp.Privacy.WorkRepositories --surface` lists each of
them with the code of the kit's own test app that uses it, and the tests that show it working.

**Settings** — one line in the app, each field with a default.

| You write | It says |
|---|---|
| `app.WorkRepositoriesPrivacy = new WorkRepositoriesPrivacySetup { KeepOtherMonths }` | How this app keeps its repositories private. |

**Functions you call**, those its own tests show most first.

| Function | What it does | Tests that show it |
|---|---|---|
| `MarkItemAbout(RepositoryItem item, DataSubject subject)` | Say whose data an item is: `item` is about `subject`. | 9 |
